The Flight. The men. The journey begins...

Live from Belfast!

I write you now, on Day #8, from Northern Ireland!

And now to hopefully give you what you've been waiting for...pictures! I'm going to give a post for each day with a list of the sights for each day. Usually I like to be creative and tell the narrative of the day, but alas, the Irish obviously don't care too much about having Internet...maybe that's why they make such great beer...(its a long process).

From Dingle, Ireland (Day 4)

Right now, the four of us are in an internet cafe in the sleepy little town of Dingle. This is one of the first Internet Cafes we have seen on this trip! The first day (Saturday) we spent in Dublin and a night in a hostel there. The next day we visited the Guinness Brewery and left Dublin for the countryside visiting any ruins and castles we saw along the way. We spent our second night in the middle of a field somewhere north of Cork and the Blarney Castle. It rained ALL night; it was cold, wet, and we had NO tents...oh well. The next day we drove a ton, saw a ton, and then spent the night in a hostel in Port Magee. The next day (today) we took a boat out to some islands off the coast where there are 13th century monasteries! Thats all for now...I'll post some pics but I unfortunately don't have time to label them...I'll update this post later for that info!

well...I apologize. After much work...the internet here will not allow me to send pics to the blog. Go figure. I've done this in Cambodia, but I can't in Ireland...weird.
